Welcome to the perfect introduction to the world of Thomas the Tank Engine!

Meet Gordon, the Big Engine, who always believed he knew best. However, one day, when his whistle wouldn't stop blowing, the other engines couldn't resist a bit of teasing. Suddenly, Gordon didn't feel quite as grand!

Adapted from the timeless tales by the Reverend W. Awdry, this modern rendition in the Thomas Engine Adventures series is an ideal way to introduce early readers (aged 2 and up) to classic characters like Percy, James, Gordon, and Toby on The Fat Controller's railway. These engaging short stories even include a bonus spot-and-see activity at the end, making them perfect for bedtime.

For over 75 years, Thomas has been imparting essential lessons about life and friendship. He proudly stands alongside beloved characters such as Paddington Bear, Winnie-the-Pooh, and Peter Rabbit, securing his place in our literary heritage.

About the Author:
In the early 1940s, a devoted father crafted a small, blue, wooden engine for his son, Christopher. The stories created by this father, THE REVEREND W AWDRY, to accompany this wonderful toy were first published in 1945. Reverend Awdry continued to weave new adventures and characters until his retirement in 1972. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 85.
