The Recaro Monza Nova EVO Seatfix is a child seat for children between the ages of three and twelve. It covers ECE groups 2 and 3 and is approved for a weight between 15 and 36 kg. With its design, which is reduced to the essentials, and with the easy installation and removal, it is considered the optimal second seat for the child, but can also be used as a first seat. With the Seatfix base, the child seat is firmly attached to the car. This increases safety. The Recaro Monza Nova EVO Seatfix complies with the ECE-R 44/04 test standard.
Equipment
The backrest grows withthe child.It is 11-way adjustable. This means that the head and neck are always protected by the side bolsters, even when the child is growing. With the height-adjustable backrest, the child seat develops into a booster seat with backrest as the child grows. The hip area is designed with reinforced armrests for double protection. At the sides, the Avanced Side Protection System (ASP) with pull-out protectors directs any impact forces away from the child's body. The Recaro Monza Nova EVO Seatfix is fitted with soft seat foam that adapts to the shape of the body. The Recaro Air Circulation System (ACS) is integrated into the Recaro child seat. It ensures comfortable ventilation of the seat shell during the journey by means of air channels in the moulded foam.
Fastening
In vehicles approved for Seatfix, the Recaro Monza Nova EVO Seatfix is fastened to the rear seat with the Isofix bracket. The Seatfix brackets are pushed into the Isofix eyelets. By installing with Isofix, the Recaro child seat is more stable in the lateral tipping behaviour Alternatively, installation is possible with the vehicle belt, which securely fastens the child seat and child. The belt guide for correct installation is colour-coded. The adjustment handles for the height of the back rests are also strikingly coloured. The installation is easy and also the change to another car is quick.
